Yesterday the computer was acting strange and so I wasn't able to post - today, as you can see, it's fine. Who understands these things?????John has been through all the dental stuff from his broken tooth and will have his nice, new crown seated next week. The root canal was not so bad; our new dentist is young and everything is state of the art.
Pretty quiet around here. The temperatures have finally lowered into the high 80's and even lower when it rains which it does a little almost every other day. We still are considered a drought area because we have had almost nothing all year. Our beautiful Christmas tree out front has been turning brown all summer - doesn't seem to matter how much rain there has been. Would be sad if it had to be taken down. We've talked about it and if that happens we will have a Blue Spruce planted in its place. A neighbor has one and it has done very well during the drought.
