Sprint? Verizon? Cricket?
Every 2 years we have to make the decisions: which phone/tablet etc... which carrier? B-O-R-I-N-G!!!! I am way over the two years. My phone is simple and does what I need it to do - no online, (I have a Kindle Fire HD and a PC) just calls and texts. As long as it still does its thing I am changing NOTHING!
Have a super, duper weekend!

The Future
This is silly but definitely possible. Electronics are running everyone's life. Pretty soon no one will perform anymore, their electronics will. It won't be long!
We are all awaiting the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's baby. Kate is in labor; may everything go smoothly.

Rain!
We are having rain almost every day. Praise God! It is also supposed to rain on and off all week. The temperature is in the 80s - much better than the high 90s and low 100s that it has been over the last two months. We will be back in the low 90s by the weekend but it is such a nice reprieve from our very long, hot, dry summer.

It's All In The Details
I am anal retentive so I really laughed when I saw this cartoon. As hard as I try to have everything 'just right' I still make mistakes. Everyone does. It just bothers those of us who are like me a lot more than it bothers others.
We are so happy - we finally got some rain. We hope to get more. The whole state is getting a little rain; this doesn't end the drought but it sure helps.
Have a wonderful, fun weekend!

Should Not Be Necessary
Just found this funny and sad too; there are veterans who sell their medals, etc... on Ebay - some because they truly need the money. Very sad. These are our heroes and should not need to do such things in order to survive. Just thinking.

And It Keeps On Going
It has been over 100 degrees now for over a week; way above normal. Usually we get a few 100 degrees days in the whole summer. We are due to cool down into the low 90s for a couple of days and then up near 100 again. It is much worse farther west, however. Alan checked it out at 113 yesterday - Yikes!!!
