Having 'senior moments' are becoming more common every day - I know I have blogged about this last week but...

There are three things that happen with memory loss:  one, you forget what you were going to say - two, you forget what you are looking for - three...uh, I forgot.

Losing One's Head

It is true.  I am very forgetful sometimes. I am told it is my age.  My doctor says that I have so much information stored in my brain that sometimes it is difficult to retrieve the info I want at the time I want it.  This was so nice of him to say, don't you think? But then, he's about the same age as I am.

Body Parts

Well, it's official!  John and I definitely are getting old and need new 'parts' installed.  Arthritic joints, bad backs - Yikes!  Where did the time go?  We struggle, with pain, getting out of bed and out of chairs.  If it weren't so painful we would be laughing all the time (we do laugh about it, by the way).

Hope none of you need new parts!

Bees Are So Very Cool

 

I love bees.  They are so cute and fuzzy and their little legs hang out behind them when they fly.  I also like their product:  honey - also bee pollen is really good for you.  If you eat honey and have allergies make sure you buy local honey/pollen - you want it to be from bees that are collecting from plants near where you live.  If you do this it will give you the best chance of helping your allergies.  Good Luck!  It is definitely allergy season.

Uh, What Was I Supposed To Remember?

Two Elderly couples were enjoying a friendly conversation when one of the men asked the other, “Fred, how was that memory clinic you went to last month?”

“Outstanding,” Fred replied.  “They taught us all the latest psychological techniques:  visualization, association, etc…  It was great.”

“That’s wonderful!  And what was the name of the clinic?”

Fred went blank.  He thought and thought, but couldn’t remember.  Then a smile broke across his face and he asked, “What do you call that flower with the long stem and thorns?”

“You mean a rose?”

“Yes, that’s it!”

Fred turned to his wife, “Rose, what was the name of that memory clinic?”
