Thumper

For those of you not on Facebook:  This is our new puppy, Thumper.  She is just one year old.  She is half Petite Corgi and half Chihuahua (apparently this is becoming a new 'popular' breed around here).  She is adjusting so well.  She loves to cuddle and especially loves being on one of our laps.  She loves children so we are looking forward to Marcelle meeting her in August.  She has a huge stuffed dog - about 10 times her size that she cuddles with, takes naps on, and sleeps on all night long.  We hope to transition her to her bed for night sleeping.  We bought her a little pink wiener dog toy that she loves.  All together she is doing very well notwithstanding the 3 mistakes in the house.  She is a real cutie.

New Dog Coming

The above is why we are getting a new dog and not cats.  We have had cats in the past and loved them but they are too independent and like to run the house.  Our cats, in the past, have:  gotten 'lost' in our fridge for hours, 'runaway' and came back in shock, and undecorated our Christmas tree - TWICE.

Our new dog will arrive tomorrow.  Will take a photo and post it with other info - hopefully on Monday.

Shark!!!

Seems there are sharks lurking everywhere.  Gotta watch out for those big boys.  In this case, their bite is worse than their bark. Ha! Ha!  Da dum, da dum, da dum.

Passwords

OKAY - How many passwords do you have?  Holy Cow! I have so many different ones, it is almost impossible to keep track of them all.  You have to be so clever these days in creating complex passwords AND you have to change them every 3 - 6 months.  Yikes!  All you hackers out there - stay away!!!

Sooo Tired of These!

I thought I would go 'nuts' before the election - surveys every day or every other day.  I thought it would all end once the election was over but NO... I am still getting all kinds of survey calls - I am totally 'fed up' with the bunch of them.

Hope no one calls you with a survey this weekend (or me, for that matter).

Makeup Free

Since the 2nd vertigo hit me in October of 2009, it is extremely difficult most days to put on makeup - focusing is almost impossible sometimes.  I can relate to the above - you feel 'blank' without makeup.  I love it when I am able to apply it.

By the way, I am a BIG fan of Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head!

For Those Of You Not On Facebook

These are the Manzano Mountains.  This view is almost exactly what we see each time we drive home.  All we have to do is turn right and a couple minutes and we are home.  I am awestruck each time I drive home.  Although brought up in a huge city I am a country girl at heart.
